Description
The series large Oval gear flow meters with mechanical register are rugged and reliable meters that can be used on a large variety of industrial applications. They have the ability to handle a wide range of fluid viscosities with exceptional levels of repeatability and durability. The mechanical register provides an accurate resettable as well as a non-resettable totalizer. Various meter body and rotor materials allow application specific customization of the meter.
Operation
As fluid passes through the metering chamber by entering through the inlet port, it forces the internal gears to rotate and then exits through the outlet port. Each rotation of the gears displaces a given volume of fluid. A magnet on the gears activates a reed switch input, which is then translated into displayed units.
Applications
The Series flow meters are designed for a wide range of applications, including petroleum based fluids, water solutions and any other industrial fluid. They are also ideally suited for non-conductive, semi-viscous fluids of any application, as long as those are compatible with the materials of construction of the meter.
